This Company was
launched in 2008. A microbrewery, based in Waringstown, Co. Down, though
beers are supposedly brewed at Loughrea Agricultural College in Co. Tyrone.
Beers Brewed: Weavers Gold ABV 4.5% This takes its name from the linen industry which was the main industry in the village of Waringstown and the surrounding areas up until the mid 20th Century. Waringstown was famous the world over for manufacturing fine Cambric and Damask Cloths. McGrath's Irish Red ABV 4.3% McGrath's Irish Black 4.3% McGrath's Irish Red is named in honour of the 'Mighty' Master McGrath, the greatest greyhound to have ever raced and who won the hare coursing Waterloo Cup 3 times in 1868, 1869 and 1871.
