There are a total of 20 premises in this area.

Dirty Onion - Yardbird
Dirty Onion - Yardbird 3 Hill Street
Belfast
BT1 2LA
(028) 9024 3712 (T)

A large outdoor area leads to a dark lounge full of wood and a plain black paint concrete floor. Stairs lead upwards to toilets (with Belfast sinks - albeit new) and the Yardbird rotisserie. The usual range of ubiquitous beers - though they once hosted a beer from the wood weekend special with Whitewater ales.

The Spaniard
The Spaniard 3 Skipper St
Belfast
BT1 2DZ
(028) 9023 2448 (T)

A small premise with French style patio doors, low lit wood bar counter with tiled floor. A small back room, wood panelled seating, all leading to an intimate atmosphere. Limited choice of draught beers but the self styled rum aficionados will introduce you to a replete range of spirits. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The National Grande Cafe
The National Grande Cafe 62 High Street
Belfast
BT1 2BE
(028) 9031 1130 (T)

A fully open, high ceilinged minimal eatery & bar with limed brick, darkened rough concrete floor and basic style wood board panelling. Good seating arrangements. Ubiquitous poor range of draught beers made up for by a good selection of spirits. Expensive drinks menu. Low level music and large front windows enhance the ambience. Upstairs are the toilets with penny arcade machines. You can overlook the bar from the (ladies) toilet. It also boasts a beer garden, cocktail lounge, rooftop bar plus a lounge bar and club.

Muriels Cafe Bar
Muriels Cafe Bar 12-14 Church Lane
Belfast
BT1 4QN
(028) 9033 2445 (T)

A small bar with more room upstairs and once the site of the smallest bar in Belfast. In-line parquet floor, soft seating, French style doors opening on to the street area. Huge selection of decanters and a large assortment of ladies underwear stretched across the room. Busy at night.

Bootleggers
Bootleggers 46 Church Lane
Belfast
BT1 4QN
(028) 9023 3282 (T)

An old Belfast bar, now extended and is a vibrant bar with food all week long. Large windows allow a look on to the shoppers passing by. Interesting use of pallets, sad use of bowling pins. While hosting the usual suspects on the bar counter it also has Samuel Adams and Sierra Nevada on tap - but at a cost!
